Sweet Potato Cheese Ball and Crackers

Dairy Goodness from Mississippi

Have you ever thought about where all those delicious dairy foods come from, not to mention the work involved in harvesting the milk to make those foods? It is a true labor of love for our dairy families.

Milk is the only crop that is harvested daily. With 9,000 milk cows on our family farms, that’s a big commitment to milk at least twice a day every day with sanitary milking machines.

In 2017, the 80 Grade-A dairy herds in Mississippi contributed $26 million in value of production. In the American diet, dairy foods are the primary source of calcium.
